Bill: Well I wish I knew. (g) All I know at the moment is that my gang is starting to book some nice profits based on that huge research effort I made this summer (and that I put into print on the MB thread on August 19). It sure is gratifying to retain one's teeth in any dust-up with this mania, never mind actually earn a decent return on one's trades. (g) I have to say that I thought we might get a bounce following Greenspan's well telegraphed "do-nothing" of this afternoon. Sure, the flow of funds equations have been suggesting an autumn swoon for several weeks, but this mania has been so potent, that it takes remarkable courage to move against it. That said, there sure is a smell of formaldehyde in the air of late. (g) Best, Earlie
