Looks like lower gasoline and MUCH higher heating oil prices on the horizon. I suspect that the "strategic heating oil reserve" is driving suppliers to ship product to Europe. Law of Unintended Consequences wins again!

you're quite right, it DOES sound like a veiled threat...it almost sounds like "you better see to it that the market gets back on track, or we might begin to question your independence" ...as if they weren't printing enough already!

in fact if you think about it, money supply growth over the past few years reminds one a bit of a banana republic's...
