Another amazing move by MDR today (+9%) in the face of a weak sector and no news. I have to believe the market is starting to look ahead to the resolution of the asbestos crisis. MDR is scheduled to submit a re-organization plan to the BK court later this month. The plan should mainly consist of the amount MDR is willing to place in a trust fund for asbestos claimants. Insurance should cover approx 80%. Someone is betting a lot of money that there will be reasonable resolution here and that the still-ridiculously undervalued assets of this company will move towards fair value. Up 57% since Sept 1. Got MDR???? John
