I wish I had done what you did...As it turns out, it looks like I'll have to live through another "cycle" in this industry to have a chance to sell somewhere close to "old highs". I bought at the right time. I held on too long, believing that the cycle had more legs to go and in the hope of minimizing my capital gains taxes (i.e. 1 year holding period). Isn't it ironic that my one year holding period would have occurred this coming November?

what doesn't kill may make me stronger but it sure hurts!
