Niceguy,

What would a close below $20 signal?

RE:"Once the Hale-Bopper analysts' erroneous psychological tie between the AAPL and INTC Q3 misfortunes and AMD is broken"

We've been in a bear. Been my experience that in a bear even good stocks can trade close to book value.
That said...cutting away AAPL from Intel and AMD will be no problem. As for AMDs ties to Intel, I suggest the best thing is for Intel to do well and AMD to do better...because h$ll is likely to freeze over before WS decouples them.

Technical Schmecknical!!! All of this pales in the absence of the most dependable of positive indicators: Unbridled anger and FUD from pauL, youseF, & Co. I used to generally ignore a majority of theiR posTs sampling one or two from time to time for reliable very bitter flavor; and when my SI listing was very blue (ie a lot of theiR posts); I knew AMD was about to begin a significant up move.

Patient Regards,

DARBES

"Once the Hale-Bopper analysts' erroneous psychological tie between the AAPL and INTC Q3 misfortunes and AMD is broken,"

Niceguy, another problem is that whenever AMD reports a blowout quarter the analysts say that THIS TIME REALLY Intel is going to start a price war that will destroy AMD. So the good earnings results fire back on the stock...
