After our discussion of the local business radio station, I put it on for a few minutes this evening going home from work. The host was one of the TA guys, and the caller, from her voice, was a middle-aged Hispanic woman who was tearful and upset. She was asking about some tech stock that's been trading for a few months and has income of something like $25 million and getting more distressed by the minute, because the prognosis was not good. Then she wanted to ask about Pairgain, but the station went to break. I hope she didn't "invest" money she couldn't afford to lose. When this is over, and I write my book, that lady and the others like her (like the "Mi dios Arriba!" lady) will get a chapter for sure.
