<Personally, I wouldn't want to be a competitor of AMD at the moment...AMD is lean and mean and in battle dress...Many of its competitors are currently flabby, low on ammunition and still in their bedclothes!!! > I believe that you are correct that the barbarians are past the gate and into the courtyard. However, investors are made up of many groups. All of them like high profits such as AMD is achieving, but they also like growth and consistent growth. What the market is fearing is that the growth may be over. We shareholder are hoping for exuberant evaluations, but exuberance and optimism is not to found in a panic stricken investor. We just have to wait for the storm of pessimism to pass and hope that AMD has used this time to establish a track record of consistent results. Everything in the looks good for the next six months for them do just that.

Again...I feel a compulsion to urge you to tell us what you really think. Stop holding back. We can take it. Let it all hang out...if you will. You seem to be so laid back and reserved. Let it go. Say what you feel, frankly and without that mid-western understated reserve that you seem to suffer from. WE WANT TO HEAR WHAT YOU REALLLLLY THINK!!!! Patient Regards, DARBES P.S.
