Millipore's Revenues Up 27 Percent in Third Quarter,
Earnings Per Share Up 103 Percent

BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2000--Millipore Corporation
(NYSE/MIL) announced today that its third quarter revenues were $239 million, up 27
percent from the same period last year. Earnings, excluding unusual items in both periods,
were $0.61 per share compared to $0.30 per share in the third quarter last year. Including the unusual items in both quarters,
earnings were $0.61 per share compared to $0.37 per share. (snip)
