Blue girl, I am an ex-Marxist who loves philosopher-kings like Trudeau. There is no right and wrong about this. I think Bush is especially dangerous because he is just barely smart enough to be unusually stupid, even more stupid than Reagan, who had the good sense to have decent advisors.

No matter. Democracy is imperfect and we generally get the leaders we deserve. Anybody of quality would not want the job.

Good to know at least ONE NYT reader is voting for Bush... interesting to hear a die hard Republican admit to the NYT being one of the pillars of sophistication.
