Honestly, I bet both Gore and Bush did the same thing back then, but they'll never admit it, because no one has the guts to tell the truth about stuff like that The body admits it. In his book, he talks about going up in the woods with a bunch of friends at age 40 and getting drunk and howling at the moon. Some other interesting adventures as well...

Well said. I see your point and I agree with it. My fear with Bush is one born of my vision of a nation that you Americans do not share. Because of that it is a difficult one to argue. I mean, just the simple stuff -- do you really think we should have a guy in there who thinks that we are fine as long as there is a drop of hydrocarbons left to burn. He has no notion whatsoever of a larger debate, a longer-term view. Gore is terribly flawed, but I think it does occur to him. All I know is that I wished they both still smoked dope.
