Hey .. I know it's crooked.

That said, it sure seems to be a sure fired way to get the market to crash .. just put all that money in one place.

Has there ever been another time in the entire history of this world that the majority of the people would have even considered risking their future on any stock market?

Only now .. if that money goes there the market will cave in.

OT:

SS really doesn't earn anything. It's an entitlement not a retirement plan. Today's workers fund today's retirees, and tomorrow's workers fund tomorrow's retirees.

The theoretical rate of return one will get on SS in the future will be totally dependent on how the economy is doing and what the demographics look like, unless SS is reformed to deal with its current shortcomings.
