In Australia, and in all of G*'s GSM markets that are active, SIM cards are supposed to be available that are interchangeable with a regular GSM phone, so many of those customers will be able to have one phone number (and btw, their address books and other personal preference features) that follows them when they remove the SIM from their city (wimp) phone and insert in the manly Globalstar phone for treks to the outback of Australia (or the US, when roaming is bilateral--so far as one can tell on the web, US customers can roam to Oz on Globalstar, but not vice versa.)
