Sorry, but I'm not in the mood for a political debate this evening. I'll just say, however, that when many people have to sell their homes and close up their business' because they cannot afford to pay high energy prices, that qualifies as a crisis for some. Nothing is written in stone that those reserves are to be used solely for military purposes.

As for the effect of releasing those reserves, everyone knows that only has a short to intermediate term affect. The purpose was to take the speculative upside momentum out of the energy market and that has been accomplished. Supply and demand ultimately rule these markets. It's called buying time, which, by the way, is what we humans have, till we die.

Bill Gates is also an arrogant SOB......the reason the judge in the MSFT case decided to split up the company. He said that Gates needed to accept some responsibilty for monopolizing and bullying the markets.......then he would not have requested a breakup!.You and Bill don't get it........you can't coerce others to do business with you by issuing threats!
