RE:"Did anyone ask Bush if he knew the name of the PM of Canada? We could have seen if he's learned anything during the campaign."

Did I miss something or are Canadians allowed to vote in the US Elections?
Here's one for you Ted, answer quick. Who's the PM of Australia?

Jim

Ted asked: "Did anyone ask Bush if he knew the name of the PM of Canada? We could have seen if he's learned anything during the campaign."

Ted: The main Liberal paper in Canada wasnt very charitable towards Bush (remember US folks.. Liberals up here may include some of but are not necessarily the same as all "liberals" your way..) They managed to squeeze this story in between all the coverage of Pierre Trudeau's funeral which was yesterday... A snippet for you:

'Gore gives Bush lesson in debating'

"The world got its first taste last night of the two men competing for the American presidency and saw a grown-up debating an adolescent.
Democrat candidate Al Gore showed that almost 24 years in public office - eight as vice-president to President Bill Clinton - has made him surer on foreign policy and domestic issues and calmer under pressure."
