Excellent points as usual. This morning I gave up on my mutual funds: they have now lost all their gains from Jan and Feb and beginning to erode 1999's gains. I won't know the price I got out until this afternoon: they were Fidelity select funds so they can get sold on the hour. At least I'll have enough to build my house though without some upside in what I still have I won't have enough to upkeep it. But it will be pretty! Should have taken gains when I had them last winter. I will tell new investors that should we ever have a bull run again. Freeus
