"By bundling all these into one company and one bill great economies of scale are achieved."

justone- IMO, you're 100% accurate. PLUS, there is a churn factor that is all but eliminated if ATT is successful at bundling. This has to be a great incentive for ATT to pursue the bundling idea too.

Now what bothers me is what Mike Armstrong said yesterday. Supposedly(a David Faber recap) when asked about, "Bundling of all services..." Armstrong replied, "The only successful bundle he has seen is one between Jiffy-Lube and their ATT LD discount coupon." I was discouraged to hear this.

And in today's WSJ, it seems ATT may be headed on the path of spinning out their LD business. Again, discouraging for me to read.

Maybe Armstrong is up against the regulators. And he will ultimately bundle, but is strictly making political moves with his public comments and talk of spinoffs. Sadly, you know if he came right out and said what you just did, the incumbents, FCC, FTC, DOJ, etc, would be all over ATT's case. -MikeM(From Florida)
