Under "Screen area" drag the bar all the way to the right
Set "Colors" to True Color (32 bit)

I'm assuming you have a decent video card. If you don't
might not be able to optimize but you still should be able
to improve. If you video card let's you set your pixels to
1280 X 1024 I think you'll be very happy with the results.

Note: Under advanced there's an option to change font
size, don't do it. It'll make your computer less stable. Leave the fonts there small then increase the fonts on the
programs you use as necessary.
