You assert that a processor with a temperature limit of 60deg C is inherently unreliable.

I point out that many factors affect the junction temperature - and many of these are under the control of the computer manufacturer. In particular, the choice of heatsink, air flow rate and mounting methods will make a large difference to the thermal performance.

What you claimed is only true if the manufacturers fail to provide enhanced cooling - which will cost more of course.

(Aluminium, the raw material of mass produced heat sinks has only existed in its metallic form for a little over 100 years, not several billion.)

Sorry if you object to my comments, but I object to gross generalisations which can lead to incorrect conclusions.
