Exaggerate??? I think not. The reason I posted that article was to show you that we are talking billions at stake here.

Would they or would they not pay billions if they all lose? Answer: yes.

Would they or would they not pay damages to Rambus if they go all the way and lose? That's what the courts are all about. If they lose, they would have been using Rambus IP for years illegally without paying. There is no FUD about that.
