Many investors frustrated and throwing in the towel. I read an article the other day about shorting stocks. Sorry, don't remember where I can find the link.

They suggest to stay away from stocks that can fly due to explosive fundamentals (QCOM ETC). They suggest shorting high priced stocks in sectors with underperforming growth rates.

Something just does not make sense with the short position here. Is the short position placed by some in the know? They are net long but have this hedge. In the meantime, the shorts make money.

As I think Peace mentioned in the past, even we the stock had strong runs into the 60's, they did not cover. In fact, they shorted more. And why hasn't management tried to break the short interest pressure? Not part of the game plan? Now I am not saying AWRE management are crooks, in fact they seem very competent. But is this just the facts of life and the stock will just have to wait for the currents to change.

Still long!

Keith

"Definitely" because Broadcom is a big player in cable and VDSL. They are moving into ADSL for some reason. It seems like they would not move into ADSL unless that is the place to be. I see it as a confirmation that ADSL is big. I also see Broadcom as competition in ADSL when they were just VDSL.
