Duke of URL,
The fact is that HotRail abandoned their DDR server chipset. That Micron also killed their DDR Samurai says a lot. That till this day no DDR production system exists says even more. That even VIA said don't expect volume OEM DDR till late 2001, says much more. That Team-DDR is having DDR compatibility issues, says even more. That servers have gone from being "only DDR" to being including RDRAM now and with the first ones being RDRAM, says it all. You can read all you want and it won't mean a thing if you are reading with only one track mind. I can read all the links Bilow posts but I asked him to post one simple tiny little link that shows where anyone can go and purchase a DDR PC, mobo and memory. He has unable to do that simple task. He can post all the links in the world till he is blue in the face but they don't mean a thing without that one link. After all, we've seen the DDR link vaporware for almost 12 months now. How long before you get it? I at least will tell you how long before I get it. Not before I see links to volume DDR PCs that anyone can purchase coming from major name brand OEMs (Dell, Compaq, Gateway). And not a second before that.
