TBA QuickTime Live session on 10/10, Wed Night unvieling Doren you were unimpressed at QTL's exhibits last year. Was Sun exhibiting then ? It seems to be a $1,000 ticket alliance/partner event but the exhibits are free on Thursday. Might be worth a peek. MeThimks MOT's G4 lateness screwed AAPL but they couldn't cry wolf twice . Wonder if MOT's 7410 G4 (cheaper/cooler etc) in your Register post was to be in the new PowerBooks instead of the "embeded" market: ----- " On Tuesday, Motorola unveiled a version of the regular 7400, called the PowerPC 7410, aimed at the embedded market. The 7410 is fabbed at 0.18 micron, making for a smaller, cooler chip. Available clock speeds, like the 7400, are 400, 450 and 500MHz, with a 550MHz version promised soon." ----- I read MOT's 10/10 MP Forum G 4 announcement as notice they are using IBM's copper & SOI technology. Hope they have found a way for IBM to help fab the G 4. Jim K.
