Even on the Naz? 5000 plus? That can happen only if "Uncle" Greenspan floods the streets with so much money that it will become nearly impossible to drive!

More likely is that there will be relentless selling by mutual funds this month, followed by the general public (who will be holding the bag this month as the funds dump and who will realize by Thanksgiving that they were actually holding the bag) in November and December.

I think investors should consider themselves extremely lucky if we finish the year above 3000 on the Naz, above 9500 on the Dow and above 1300 on the S&P 500.

Allan, Utilities (both gas & electric) reversing down from nosebleed levels. What do you think?
