re"So are you are saying Goldman, CIBC, Painwebber,"

Some analyst are sincere while others pump & dump. It's not so much what they say, it's how they are percieved by the public.
There are people who get up early, check current news, and make their daily plays based on that news. If a buy rating comes out pre mkt and the stock gaps dn because of market conditions, they buy the gap dn, because when the late birds get up they will buy driving the price up, atleast temporarily. Hi all,

Actually from what I see, there are not too many of the Microsoft Cheerleaders here on this board like there were when I was the token Microsoft Contrarian about 1.5 years ago. For the few that are still here and remember the several MSFT futures discussions, I warned this board over and over that even though the MSFT stock looked like it would never go down, the black days of MSFT were just around the corner. Remember my analogy of the Wolves cornering MSFT and smelling/tasting blood. Well over the past several months, the cornering ended and the feast began.

I take pride is saying to those ol' timer MSFT board Cheerleaders.... "I TOLD YA SO!!" While you all were looking short-sighted and gloating how MSFT is not going down, I was looking 1-5 years ahead and warning you what was outside of the sight of your headlights.

Just had to come in here and take some of my credit that I earned (since I took a TON of lumps from the board for my negative predictions).

Cheers!
