Scumbria,

If I had made the statement "Intel is building DRDRAM chipsets for P4", I'm quite certain you would not have questioned it.

Damn.

My first reaction was "of course I would have". But after thinking about it, I'm not so sure. I'll think about it and let you know. I'm sure there are many posts that say that that I've let slide.

I will, however, continue to try to get you to clarify your statements, regardless of how much you fight it. For example, if I had said "Intel is building DRDRAM chipsets for P4" in a post and you asked me whether I meant just the Willamette/desktop/workstation version (whatever you might call it) or was I including servers in that, I would have answered simply "the Willamette version". A simple answer for a simply question. I don't believe I would have asked you questions like "don't you think it's logical that they're building RDRAM support in servers as well?"

I think you should examine your own frame of reference to understand why you are troubled by the comment "Intel is building DDR chipsets for P4."

I'm more troubled by your inability to answer simple questions simply. This is the second time I've tried to get a simple answer from you and found it extremely difficult.
