I feel really sad.
I am missing northern leaves, southern leaves, the whole shebang.
This is really bad.
I have to go see some leaves.

I'm sure that owl was impressive..... Have you ever chased a flock of turkeys from their roost? The sound is similar to standing next to a runway when a 747 is taking off..... Guaranteed to eliminate the need for caffeine for a few weeks ;-)

He then swooped out of the tree and displayed his 6 ft. wingspan as he flew in and around the trees. Fantastic!
I was amazed how he could time the flapping of his large wings as to fit between some of the trees that stood close together.

the great thing about being close to an owl when it flies is what's not there. Kinda like the empty space in a good photograph. It's the silence. Huge wings. No sound. Amazing.
