I don't understand how anybody could view this week's stock market performance and honestly believe that the market is efficient, or even rational. And this is news to you :)? The market is efficient and rational, but only in the long term. Short term, it's dominated by gamblers who call themselves traders and are driven by fear and greed. Both of these forces apply simultaneously, much like gravity and the electromagnetic forces. The only one that counts in the big picture is gravity. P.
