mr mark, >welcome to the world of the 24 hr maximum shelf life cookie. <g3><

While I like FRESH cookies, I think I won't delete them daily. Maybe every time there are new nav defs.

Clickthebutton Alert - this clip from Lockergnome technolist:

I installed Clickthebutton last week to try some shopping, compare prices,
etc. About three days later when I tried it again, ZoneAlarm 2.1.25 went
berserk! I had 17 invasions in 10 minutes. I shut down. I did the latest
anti-virus. None of the POP numbers looked even vaguely familiar in the
ZoneAlarm log, nor did any of them repeat.

What would have happened if I had NOT had ZoneAlarm installed (and running)
is an unsettling thought. I found some html/jpg files that DID get
through, and they were not the sort I want my four young children to view.
I ran the magic "uninstaller" program, and did not get back on the net for
two days. (I was away from the office.) I have had only one alarm since,
and I've had it several times before (local POP; I've warned the isp).

Needless to say, I can't recommend Clickthebutton as a shop-bot, but I
can't verify that they are the culprit. Makes me wonder if I need to
increase the paranoia settings; and how. It also makes me wonder what
happens to other people who have no firewalls.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?? donnacat
