JC,
RE:"PS: Apologies if I insulted. Didn't mean that, I just get in a ranty mood something. I still hold you in high respect."

Ah shucks JC...
I was just replying satirically in kind to "Jimbos" seemingly underhanded comment about voting for Bush...not whether or not Bush should have known who the Prime Minister of Canada is. Surely he should have. On the other hand, I did not see the event happen. I don't know how off guard Bush was, whether he could really hear the question clearly. Whether he had another train of thought. It all sounds like a foolish prank to me. He was put in an no win situation, supposed he had called the Comedian on the name and it turned out that it really was the PM and the name was muddled or misunderstood. This is one of those questions like, when was the last time you beat your wife.

I'm sure that someone could trick just about any politician off their feet if they tried. The bias comes when the comedian chose to try and pick only Bush. All this should have no bearing on your vote. Surely Bush knows he was pranked and just who the PM of Canada is...

RE:"But it is stupid to believe that a President should avoid knowing the names of other Presidents and Prime Ministers just so that <<<"he doesn't clog up his head with unimportant items">>>.

I believe that was Jimbos quote, not mine...

You could see that Jimbos was being sarcastic.

Jim, I am still undecided with my vote in this election. In fact, I was slightly Goric, but Bush's comments regarding the Supreme Court this morning (I listened to the replay of the debates on the FOX network while setting up my new KT7-RAID based PC) gave me some reassurance and shifted me back to center.

Hey jerr,

Goric?!! What's that? A new spice?
