Then to further prove manipulation, (even what should be a pro-gold) government of South Africa turned down a merger that would have helped the industry!

Agree with you 100%, Ken. Gold has never faced such a bleak future. Gore will keep the Clinton economic steamroller going, which is bad news for gold. I can't see anything helping the gold price in the forseeable future, except some type of world catastrophe. Until then, the US dollar will remain the new gold standard. Phil
