Well, I do believe that Cisco is fairly priced right now relative to other stocks and taking into account their position in the markets they are tackling, their steady cash flows, and ability to give Wall Street consistently accurate forecasts. That is my new way of thinking. Ergo, I do think Cisco is worth more than LU and NT combined.

However, if I use my old way of thinking (from 2 years ago and prior), based on things like discounted cash flows or PE=growth rate rule of thumb, I'd have to say Cisco is overvalued. Ergo, I don't think Cisco is worht more than LU and NT combined.

How's that for a crappy answer? OK, based on my gut, which I always favor above anything else in the end, no I don't think so. But I still think Cisco is fairly valued right now. Therefore, that leads me to believe that NT and LU both have some catching up to do. Nortel's stock will do some serious catching up next year. Lucent is such a dog and Wall Street hates them so much, it may be awhile until they get a fair value relative to Cisco and Nortel.

Summary: Cisco and Nortel will continue going up and Lucent will probably continue sucking until they get their act together.
