Good news for ENTU holders:

RSA Security (RSAS) 39 1/2 +3/16: Company issues upside preannouncement for Q3; sees EPS of $0.24; current EPS estimate is $0.23. Revenue will be about $72 mln. Company announced also that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to an additional four mln shares of its common stock over the next 12 months; see press release.

"We exceeded Wall Street expectations for revenues and earnings, and all product lines and geographies were at or above our internal goals," said Art Coviello, president and CEO of RSA Security. "We were particularly pleased with the 34% sequential revenue growth we recorded for our public key infrastructure (PKI) solutions."

Apple got whacked for about 50% on their announcement. Dell has already gotten whacked. If I were a fund manager and I wanted to get into Dell, I would be a buyer tomorrow, not a seller.

I don't pay much attention to fundamentals, because I think most of it is built into the price. The only surprises are really shocking announcements. APPL was overextended anyway.

Now, the overall charts don't look great for the tech stocks. Don't get me wrong here. But if we can hold up here and not take a real bad beating in the next 30 days, we should be OK.
