If the aftermarket is an indicator, chip equipment companies are following Dell's lead -- up sharply.

And even Dell and the like have bounced after the initial kneejerk response.

Unless Micron has some magical soothing words in their CC about the future, I'd say the tide shifts with Dell. Remember that Micron is reporting on what they did upto August, whereas Dell is talking about what they will be doing in the future. Now if Micron was to somehow convince the market that "yes the demand is slowing but we cannot even meet this reduced demand and anyway the slow down is temporary" then perhaps we'll see change of tides.

So Jacob you are saying that we missed the top of the cycle. So you do not think the semis will firm up, that they are ridiculously oversold? Why could I not see 100 in Feb? Thanks LynnieK
