"Company officials weren't immediately available for comment."
Ouch! While I have been bullish on QLT since 1994, I do think that management should examine their ability to respond to major concerns or questions in a timely fashion. I do understand the time zone difficulty with the market opening at 6:30 Pacific Time. However, I think Tamara, once in the office just prior to 9:00 AM, was the only person responding to the multitudes of questions that were coming in. ROBTV and other stations had no more information that did retail investors. This added to the panic.
I suspect that I took advantage of this slow release of information and bought at an artificially low price.
This post in no way constitutes a criticism of Tamara Hicks. I do think she probably had a very "bad hair day" and is happy to have it over.
Regards,
Ed
