A CALL TO ARMS...part 2

GOAL #1....NOAM ON POWER LUNCH ON CNBC

sometime in march-april, noam was on SQUAWK BOX and was interviewed by joe and the gang...so we know that he knows how to get to the local affiliate and that he is willing to appear...

this is perhaps the easiest of all the goals(though all are very achievable) because POWER LUNCH operates on the principle of viewer requests for interviews...mass mailing wins with bill griffith...the email address is POWERLUNCH@CNBC.COM

i will post the salient email addreses in the next post...at least 5 of us need to go to the yahoo thread and post the email address for power lunch and THEN we have to continue reminding ourselves and the yahooligans to do it EVERY DAY...persistence is the key....we all need to send just one email per day until it happens...

duffeck, signist, sector...if you guys plus me plus one more can take responsibility for goal #1 then i think we will achieve it...however, everybody else still needs to send one email per day...we will take responsibility for constantly reminding the yahhooligans...

once again that email address is powerlunch@cnbc.com

and the request should mention that they should have the ceo of MRVC on VERY SOON because the first of their many IPOs is being spun off...mention fiber optics...

Coach & Greg

I think Greg pointed out that the Power Lunch interview with Noam is out of question during the Luminent quiet period at least until the red herring or prospective is out and the roadshow is underway. Note that the quiet period's third phase extends for 25 days after the IPO. Does this preclude Noam from appearing on Power Lunch on the very day of the LMNE IPO? If so I suggest we can put number 1 on the back burner for awhile. Of course by the day of the Luminent IPO we will certainly be in the quiet period for OA if were not there already. In fact I wonder how can you be in the middle of a quiet period when your not suppose to hype LMNE stock and make financial projections and still have a "Roadshow" where it seems to me that the very purpose is to hype LMNE stock and make financial projections. Perhaps Greg you might be able to clear up this confusion for me?

duff

On CNNfn Wall Street Strategies recommends MRVC
<<
Question: MRV Communications. In the optics space, what is your opinion on the prospects for MRV Communications, in both the short and long term?

Answer: I've been recommending MRVC for a long time and the stock has been great at times and a heartbreaker at others. There are many naysayers that say the stock should be lower. I happen to believe the stock should be higher. Technically it has pretty good support in the $50 area, and when it rebounds, it should retest $80. I also believe there is a 60 percent chance the company receives a takeover offer in the next six months.
