So what is the point of folks actually getting worked up over the relative merits of Bush/Gore? These guys are actors, playing to a script written by market research folks. There is some truth in what you say, but they do have actual differences in both policy ideas and personality and the decision on who to vote for will have some impact on the country. I don't think they are completly actors but there is a lot of spin and downplaying any possibly unpopular ideas that each of them hold. Tim
