Lets compile a list here based on some criteria such as ttm sales and see where Luminent fits in. Here is a start. GLW ~ $5.62B looks huge wonder what part fo? JDSU ~ $1.43B SDLI ~ $289M CIEN ~ $712M . . . . LMNE ~ $106M For reference the current S-1 Luminent lists its competitors as including ".....Agilent Technologies, Corning Incorporated, Finisar Corporation, Fujitsu, Infineon AG, International Business Machines Corporation, JDS Uniphase Corp., Lucent Technologies, Inc., Sumitomo, Tyco International, Ltd. and other companies that offer or have announced similar products." Or maybe you mean the fiber optics "networking" sector and we should include the whole MRV enchilada with all the subsidiaries and partner companies except I suppose Hyperchannel? duff
