Hi Altair,

I know that area pretty well.

I posted a picture to Polvie once of that area.
The Ausable was very dry the time of my picture. I'll have to see if I can find it. I told him it was one of the water hazards along the golf course I was playing...

Somewhere in that area was a very old wooden covered bridge that crossed the river.
They recently removed it and reassembled it next to the modern steel bridge that replaced it.

Needless to say, the new steel bridge doesn't have quite the charm and appeal of the old wooden one.
Certainly no clickety-clack sound as you cross it...
