Re HLIT ....

Never, ever forgive a management team once they have proven they are lying scumbags....

A research project for the next snowy day ..... Once a company warns it will miss earnings, by how much does the probability go up that they will miss again at some point in the next few quarters?

My guess is the chances of a second miss go up a whole bunch. Example lately have been DELL (they at least missed revs if not earnings too recently); Xerox (the invention and giveaway of GUI technology was the beginning of the end for this company -- they will not exist in less than 5 years); HLIT (plotting a Harmonic Convergence with bankruptcy court). I am sure there are others but I haven't been paying close attention.

Jorj, Do you actually own any? that is far more important...I hope not. I was holding the bag on 500 shares. Those are gone. I shorted enough for 1.625 to get out square. CORV (my pick for the week) is doing OK so far. tp
