What a great story. Thank God they let you live. Think of how many are now being sent to their maker. Tragic.

Lola I am very happy that your parents had the right to make a choice, and I am happy with the choice they made, for otherwise we would have no Lola, which would be as drab and dreary as a world without Christmas and the Fourth of July.

But, it appears that your parents DID have a choice, and the choice they made has proven to be the greatest blessing of their lives.

There always have been, and always will be, ways for women to terminate unwanted pregnancies. Personally, I have only known one woman who has had an abortion (I had nothing to do with it!), and whether she made the right choice is highly questionable.

But the fact remains that, regardless of the law, she would have still been faced with that choice. One way or another, the choice would still have been made, even if it meant traveling overseas.

When I see people arguing in favor of criminalizing abortion, I see people who want to brand my friend as a criminal, and that I can't accept.
