Great white,

Yes, I think you are right, its not likely they will go to the Cretaceous in B-2 since it is wet in A-1 and B-1.

But, the Cretaceous has great promise in Kauri simply because it is wet in B-1, and rises 3000 feet or 1000 meters as you go south-southeast into Kauri. We all know water is on bottom, then the oil leg, and then gas as you go up structure from b-1 which is obviously in the water leg downstructure.

Now, its good or even great reservoir quality rock, and it
would have the same opportunity to have been in place above the same source rock that the Lower and Upper Tariki were
originally migrated from. So, its pretty logical that the
upstructure Cretaceous somewhere in that 3000 foot slope upward is filled with hydrocarbons.....in Kauri.

Sounds like they indeed have some gas production on B-1 which is expected based on the logs, and so we wait to hear the official word on what they produced down the pipeline or into the stock tanks and what got flared and then we have it. More facts and on to B-2 which is very likely mostly
oil and in both the lower and upper Tariki.
