Hi Clappy:

re:
It's not often one stumbles across a flock of jet airliners in their natural habitat.

What's even more amazing is observing the mating habits of 747's and other species in the wild (blue yonder). Darwin was right. It truly is survival of the fittest. It's interesting to note that Tomcats (F14) and Ravens (F111) utilize the same mate attracting stategies by extending their wings to make themselves more attarctive. Some even demonstrate incredibly complex mating ritual dances before they "get it on" and "shoot their load". Many species tend to demonstrate fierce competitive forms of agression against would be competitors. Migration studies have been performed, although some species demonstrate higher levels of shyness and are therefore harder to track such as the Nighthawk(eg F-117). There are some that have very strong impulses to seek their designated mate at all costs, similar to salmon that fight strong agressive currents and deal with predatory "bears" lurking in the (slip) streams. These brave species afectionately referred to as TomaHAWKS (who just like to cruise around at time, loitering) don't know it but their end goal is to get to their point of origin (ground zero) or die trying.

Most of this information was gleaned from that great naturalist Jane (something or other).

Oh, oh, i think I just OD'ed from watching too much Discovery/nature/TLC channels.

Next week on the Fool Channel, Emerral Legassi will show you how to take the Naz and "kick it up a notch".

Now for a public service announcement:
Being rather impulsive at times (naaaah!), I decided to upgrade my Dell inspiron from windows 98 to Millenium. WARNING, WARNING, WARNING WILL ROBINSON!!!

Do not do so until you make sure that all of your peripherals and software is compatable with win ME. To my disgust, at 2:00 am, after installing the software, I found that my Belkin USP-Ethernet adapter was not funtional. Couldn't log on. Using my backup 56K modem, I later found out that Belkin doesn't have any drivers for Win ME. Contacted tech support from Optimum on line who informed me, sadly after the fact, that there have been many problems associated with USP adapters, Not just Belkin, but many other brands. Many do not have drivers yet. I also later found out that Dragon will not work with Win 2000 or ME unless it's their latest verion 5.0, which just came out about 2 weeks ago and is backordered for 2-3 weeks. My scanner was also inoperative with no new driver files available on line or otherwise. Ended up having to uninstall it.

Moral of the story:

DON'T FIX WHAT'S NOT BROKEN!!!!!

Best regards to all,

David
