God knew He was going to do that when he invented the world and flicked the switch. He knew He was going to try to kill Moses, and then change His mind. But His knowing this did not prevent Him from being angry as He approached Moses at the inn. The bible is full of examples: God continually has all kinds of feelings about things, when He knew from the beginning that new information would change His mind. He is happy with His creation; He regrets it. He is happy with Saul; then He hates him. If you told me (and your information was 100% reliable) that my medical tests would show a growth, but that I would subsequently discover that all was well and I had never been healthier...would I experience all these strange feelings of terror and anguish when the first premise came about? Of course not. Feelings come from perception/awareness/interpretation. Why does God have all these irrational feelings?? Oh, oh! Time for more HERMENEUTICS. Gotta interpret God's words. Gotta do it, as well, without preconceptions or bias, and without taking strenuous effort to FIT IT into a system that can only be justified with a particular answer----no matter how irrational, or intellectually insulting...that answer may need to be. I can tolerate the followers of these interpreters . I am sad that they deny and despise their own reason, their own minds--but I can tolerate that. But these apologists are another story. They are generally educated and aware, yet they choose to deceive and obscure. How far would science have come with these people at the helm. Well we know the answer. NOWHERE. Society was comprised of superstitious creatures at the mercy of their environment, and their masters --until their masters (their thinkers and interpreters) were ignominiously pushed out of the ruling body. They can only rule now by deception, not force (at least here). This difference allows human being s to think--but they still have to make the choice. How you doin, X. Having good weather in the Bay !
