Phyxter: You are right on the money with your analysis. Also, we must not forget all the non-Supreme Court federal judicial appointments that the Repubs in Congress have held up ... like airplanes circling LaGuardia ... hoping for a Bush victory. Then we will see the centrist nominees replaced with judicial candidates acceptable to Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson and the extreme right wing of the Grand Ol' Party. That may be just as injurious to civil liberties as stacking the court with more Clarence Thomas clones.
