volt, the market is 50% available cash (currently debt financed) and 50% emotion (which no sane person can predict!).

did you know that housing equity dropped while housing prices exploded? refi, take cash out, put in market, get rich (not smart enough to resist the guile of greed, but rich), repeat until broke.

the formula is always the same, the time frames are different. vietnam had a bubble in some type of bird, can't remember which. the price went up a thousandfold. everyone was ricj until folks realized the emporer has no clothes.

btw, i said i'd bark like a dog if mu made it to $80... presplit! it hit nearly $200 before the BIG selloff. woof woof! ;-)
