Adventure Minerals Inc. (OTCBB:AVML) is pleased to announce and welcome its newly appointed board of directors: Donald D. Dick, P.Eng., Chairman; Wayne A. Hansen, CA, Director and Treasurer; and Gary W. Martin, Director and Secretary.
The decision of Donald D. Dick, P.Eng., to lead the board of Adventure Minerals Inc., shines as yet another example of his lifelong commitment to improving the world around him. For over 30 years Don Dick has served as chairman, president, and managing director of Dick Engineering Ltd., Toronto, ON, completing over 1,100 assignments in locations from Central and South America, to Europe, Canada, and the United States. Dick continues to this day as chairman, with his son, William Joseph (Bill) Dick, recently assuming the position of president of the firm.
Throughout his five-decade career, Don Dick has earned an enviable reputation for innovation, state-of-the-art design, and intuitive timing. His unwavering commitment to anticipating, meeting, and exceeding his clients' objectives has led him directly to his role as chairman of Adventure Minerals Inc.

Hansen spent 12 years as managing partner with BDO Dunwoody Chartered Accountants and Consultants, Vancouver, BC. During his tenure, the office grew to become one of the largest accounting firms in the Lower Mainland, with a staff of more than 90. While at BDO Dunwoody, Hansen was also elected to the esteemed position of National Executive Committee Member. This five-person committee provided overall governance and management for the 240-partner national firm with a staff of more than 2,000 and revenues exceeding $120-million.
Hansen has made numerous TV appearances on W-5, a Canadian national television news program, and the CTV Canadian National Newscast; he has additionally been quoted in Time Magazine and The Vancouver Sun newspaper regarding Asian development.

Gary Martin's interest in construction is rooted in his family tree. Following in his father's footsteps in engineering, Martin attended the prestigious Conestoga College in Kitchener, ON., and completed intensive and comprehensive training in their Construction Technology and Estimating program. Graduating well versed in all aspects of construction technology, he applied his knowledge for four years with large, general contracting companies before forming his own international construction firm, Magest Inc., Stratford, ON.
As president of Magest Inc., Martin has held senior responsibility for industrial and commercial construction activity performed on numerous multi-million dollar projects in Russia, various Republics of Russia, Spain, Algeria, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mexico, and the U.S.
