Lindy, I have stopped trying to evaluate ORCL. They keep coming back. I was sure that MSFT SQL Server would kick them hard, but they came back with great web development tools and an even more robust RDBMS engine, then cut their price by 50%. So far, SQL Server is relegated to the departments and ORCL rules the Enterprise.

ORCL has always had trouble getting its apps out, but who hasn't? Certainly PSFT and SAP have bloodied their customers computer rooms along the way.

What is encouraging, if you are an ORCL fan, is Larry's commitment and recognition of the critical importance of the solution side of the product line and his ability to build a value chain throug alliances and interfaces.
