Hi sylvester80; Those Instat numbers are down considerably for RDRAM from the original figures. A short history of the Instat and Semico numbers is available here: Instat reduced their estimates for RDRAM production in 2000, 2001, and 2002 by 2%, 4%, and 10%. This would indicate that Instat believes that RDRAM will not ramp up as quickly. Semico, left their estimates for RDRAM production alone, still calling for a niche market only, but changed their DDR predictions, calling for less in 2000, followed by a faster ramp to a higher penetration in 2001 and 2002. #reply-14365857 -- Carl
