Max, LOTS of money already invested needs to be protected. I think most of those analysts aren't as blind as they appear.

Okay, I love conspiracy theory just as much as the next guy, and I do believe a lot of spin/hanky panky going on out there on WS, but if I were a money manager/stock analyst, I wouldn't have kept on piling new money into Intel in early September, when there was evidence of looming difficulties re RDRAM, it is no secret that the market will not accept so readily, if the analysts didn't do that, they wouldn't have to spin so often and blow so hard, Intel would not have reached the high of 76 just last month and they wouldn't have to prop it up day in and day out, reminds of the movie "Weekend with Bernie". Instead they should have been buying AMD quietly, (I wonder if that could be done re quietly, AMD has such a small float relatively, any tangible volume and price movement can be spotted a mile away.)
