how are you going to value this stuff. You've got PacBell saying they have a goal of 1 million DSL customers. They are investing 5 billion on infrastructure. )but can't answer their phones within an hour) You've got Copper mountain the #1 DSL router guys with the largest chunk of Non-cisco routers and their stock is crashing through longer term support. You've got the imigration dudes bringing 600 thousand new foreign workers in to help crash technical employee salaries. Lots' of questions. Lots' of irritation on the part of present High speed users in terms of reliability and systems frequently down because of upgrades. I know the phone companies must be taking the (FrameRelay/WAN/Backbone) systems down all the time. Even my generally reliable ISP is confused routing my packets when i frequently clean out my cookies files, temp files , fdisk and rebuild my machine. Just lots of variables. Lots of questions. I don't have any answers. I'm not really big on DSL based on the cost of build out (huge debt load in co's like RTHM) and all of the technical questions going forward and all of the Bozos out there that are supposed to be troubleshooting this stuff.
